Farm Babies and extras

April 2nd

We were able to attend a fun preschool outing with our preschool friends. We went to a local farm that is part of our park system in the county. We were able to see baby pigs, sheep, and chicks. Everyone enjoyed all the animals except Milk Dud. He is really scared of them now.

We were also able to see how they tapped the tree to get sap to make maple syrup.

We also pulled the kernels off of their homegrown corn and made popcorn.

Yummy!!!

Candy - 1st day of Preschool

Candy had her first day of preschool. She wanted to get on the bus and go, but I told her I was her bus this year. That was ok. She had a lot of fun and is excited to go back.

We had our city days this week also. Not only was it the first week of school, we were also having a garage sale. I cleaned out sooo many boxes of things and worked hard to get ready. So many things were happening that I kind of lost my mind and brought Candy to school a day before it started. She was not sad or happy when I laughed and said we will come back in 2 days.

I am sure glad we have a great kid!!

We are proud of Ice Cream. He read "Freckle Juice" until he was done while kids played at open house. He is really enjoying books and this one was a fast read for him. Thanks Judy Blume for such great books.

Milk Dud found this room lots of fun. I think he might want to stay.
